Welcome to DIY Vee My Tech & DIY Journey

🎧 Prefer to listen? Here’s me telling the story — first take, mistakes and all.

Hi, I’m Victor but here, you can call me “DIY Vee.”

I love dreaming up ideas, wondering how things are made, pushing them to their limits, and figuring out how to make them even better. Dream it. Build it. Break it. Hack it. This is where I share the things I create, the problems I break (and solve), and the lessons I learn along the way..

Who am I? I’m both a doer and a DIYer. I learn best by getting my hands dirty, breaking things (sometimes on purpose), and figuring out how to make them work again.

Education? As of writing this, I have a Higher Certificate in Network Engineering, a foundational certification in cybersecurity, and countless hours of watching random YouTube videos on everything from tech teardowns to obscure DIY hacks.

Experience? I’d call myself a seasoned salesperson. I’ve been selling since I could add and subtract. My first sales gig? Selling veggies from my family’s farm. My first DIY project? Taking apart my own toys.

Why This Blog?

For years, I’ve shared my DIY builds on my WhatsApp status, but I’ve always wanted to bring them to a bigger audience. I used to think my projects weren’t “cool enough” for others… but you know what? I think they’re pretty cool.

This blog is my space to document my journey in tech whether it’s:

  • Prepping for a certification,
  • Tackling a random build, or
  • Experimenting in my home lab.

I’ll share my story first what went wrong, what went right, and how much fun I had. Then I’ll follow it up with a how-to guide so you can try it yourself.

This is also my way of keeping myself accountable, and the beginning of my tech DIY journey.
